In September 1997, the Orange County and Greater Los Angeles chapter of Greyhound Pets of America sponsored the Hounds of Nobility Renaissance Faire. As this was the first (and, unfortunately, the last) time they attempted such a thing, several members of the group offered to help in any way they could. The main job during the Faire's two-day run was to serve as ticket-takers and greeters since the AZ group seemed to be the only ones who knew how to fake an "Olde English" accent.
The weather was miserable - hot and humid - but the Faire was very nice, with southern California's St. Elizabeth's Guilde playing the part of the royal court.

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel at CSU Fullerton. The hotel welcomed
our nine hounds with open arms. |

After checking into the hotel, all of us with our hounds took a leisurely stroll around the CSUF campus. |
